I was in Paris with Sa'at and our crew on May 2004. A 3 days stopover for our Guatemala visa application. Our traveling was so hectic-crazy and I knew he missed Michele and wishing that she was with him in Paris, the City of Light & Romance. Somehow, a french song from the cafe got stuck in my head while we were talking (bitching...he,he,he kidding lah Mitch) about Michele. I finally knew a lot more about that song after researching with Mr Google.
For remembrance, and aptly appropriate for this fun wedding video at Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa, Singapore on Sunday, 30.11.2008. I hereby dedicate this "love tribute" to my "bradder" Sa'at and his lovely wife Michele. This song made me think of you, both in good faith and may Allah (S.W.T) accept your sacrifices, ibadah, good deeds and reward you with HIS forgiveness and Jannah in the Hereafter, Ameen.
C'est Si Bon is a sexy french song from the late 1940s made famous in 1953 by Eartha Kitt. It is quite catchy and very sassy. That is why it got stucked in my head... enjoy! Double check on the English translation. The French out there please post any mistake here... Merci beaucoup.
