MacMachine Some edited footages I shot during a New York City trip for Human Rights Watch International Film Festival and the New York Asian Film Festival in June 2005. Nearly mugged wandering around. It's a little tribute to this lovely city and people but NOT to Bush and his administration. It got this wonderful creative aura energy that hard to explain. Anyway, this video here will tell on how I felt being in the "City That Never Sleeps". Edited with the background music of U2 from the album "All that you can't leave behind, New York - 2000 ".

Abu Dhabi Emirates Palace Hotel sometimes confused with the Presidential Palace nerby

" Emirates Palace luxury hotel "

" Emirates Palace fountain court "

Couple night ago we were hosted to dinner here at Sayad, Emirates Palace. It's a majestic grandeur- luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi boasting 302 superior rooms and 92 magnificent suites each combining the ultimate in luxury with 22nd century technology. The hotel was built and owned by the Abu Dhabi government, and currently managed by the Kempinski Group.

I was told that the construction cost of this was over US$3 billion and reputed to be the most expensive hotel ever built and sometimes confused with the Presidential Palace, the official residence of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, which is nearby...

My job here is done for now and time for my R&R (trying to arrange scuba diving tomorrow to Fujairah on the east coast of the UAE, they have the best dive site full with marine life with crystal clear water) , will fly back home on the 28th after my Promax/BDA Arabia conference... yay . . . see ya guys s o o n.

pirate
“ Better to be a Pirate than to join the Navy ”

Steve Jobs - Referring to the pirate flag that flew over Apple’s headquaters in 1983. I believe that quote was one of three keyphrases for a large Apple meeting/conference, and the Pirate flag was attached to the Macintosh building after that meeting. So the flag was actually a reaction to that.
