bye-bye FreeHand, hello Illustrator
I started using Freehand at version one and still use it to this day on my Macintosh Color Classic back home in SG. So when I got
the news from Macworld this morning, it sort of made me sad. Good-bye FreeHand... It's been a blast, as I tearfully drag your beautiful, turquoise icon from my dock... and "poof". I'll be switching to using Illustrator now after installing Adobe CS3 Web Premium. More info on switching from Freehand to Illustrator available here:

“ Better to be a Pirate than to join the Navy ”
Steve
Jobs - Referring to the pirate flag that flew over Apple’s headquaters
in 1983. I believe that quote was one of three keyphrases for a
large Apple meeting/conference, and the Pirate flag was attached
to the Macintosh building after that meeting. So the flag was actually
a reaction to that.
