MacMachine Some edited footages I shot during a New York City trip for Human Rights Watch International Film Festival and the New York Asian Film Festival in June 2005. Nearly mugged wandering around. It's a little tribute to this lovely city and people but NOT to Bush and his administration. It got this wonderful creative aura energy that hard to explain. Anyway, this video here will tell on how I felt being in the "City That Never Sleeps". Edited with the background music of U2 from the album "All that you can't leave behind, New York - 2000 ".

the london 2012 olympics logo

" done by Wolff Olins, costing £400,000 (USD$800,000) "

This design has been chosen as the official logo of the London 2012 Olympic Games done by: www.wolffolins.com. Check out the brand site: www.london2012.com. I have to say this is something different and refreshing crappiest design I have ever seen which will grow on you...I think, would like to hear your opinions on this. But apparently I'm not alone. Go on and read here, here and here. There's also a site where they collect signatures against this logo. Earlier nicknames for the logo by now include 'Gay swastika puzzle' and 'Tiswas disaster'. But to me, it looks like 'Lisa Simpson giving a blowjob'...what you think?

Go here to sign the petition asking the Olympic Committee to rethink there logo. There’s a rare and very refreshing defense of the Olympic logo here and just recently the web animation is causing fits! Literally!, read it here.

At last, I'm having my school break and free from any work project at the moment. Will head to Sabah, Sipadan Island to test my underwater camera housing and light. Yay...looking forward to some 'happy days' and the first time trying to shoot underwater. Hope it all good.

pirate
“ Better to be a Pirate than to join the Navy ”

Steve Jobs - Referring to the pirate flag that flew over Apple’s headquaters in 1983. I believe that quote was one of three keyphrases for a large Apple meeting/conference, and the Pirate flag was attached to the Macintosh building after that meeting. So the flag was actually a reaction to that.
