MacMachine Some edited footages I shot during a New York City trip for Human Rights Watch International Film Festival and the New York Asian Film Festival in June 2005. Nearly mugged wandering around. It's a little tribute to this lovely city and people but NOT to Bush and his administration. It got this wonderful creative aura energy that hard to explain. Anyway, this video here will tell on how I felt being in the "City That Never Sleeps". Edited with the background music of U2 from the album "All that you can't leave behind, New York - 2000 ".

a losing war in Iraq?

Recycled from 40-year-old CIA memo on losing a war, replacing the word “Vietnam” with the word “Iraq”? The result is a set of conclusions that are just as true today...

"mother of all genocide" in western democracy

" The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has been
given the green light by the Bush administration to
carry out an “information war” against several states
in the Middle East, including Iran, Lebanon ... "

There is a genocide going on today under the disguise of 'Democracy'. It has gone on for 515 years, since Columbus entered the Mexican shore in the so called "new world". It is the western imperialistic and colonial system, who since have ruled, robbed and slaughtered the rest of the world in quest for resources that belonged to the poor. This is mother of all genocide that makes the other smaller genocides look like a fight in the boys scout(I am a scouty..yay).

Greed is driving it. First came Latin-America, later Asia and Africa.

Because of oil, todays war and killing brought it to the rest of Middle East.Of course the west uses all the euphemisms (PR machinery) available to disguise what has been going on, and still goes on. Occupation is called "liberation","bringing democracy", "civilizing", "liberal intervention". The resistance to the illegal occupations have up through the years been called "extremists","terrorists" and the like. So you get a new euphemism (PR machinery) to use. Rewrite the situation and start calling invasions and occupations "war on terror" The poor western public lives their lives under these euphemisms (PR machinery).

support and vote Iraqi voices here at Avaaz

" sign the petition calling for negotiations and a withdrawal of US troops here at AVAAZ. "

The nightmare in Iraq worsens daily. It's make-or-break time -- but next Thursday in Egypt, we could start to turn the tide. Because on May 3rd – for the first time ever - top US and Iraqi leaders will meet with Iran and Syria plus international powers. They can agree on negotiations to end the war -- or escalate their bloody conflict.

Iraq: It Ends on May 3rd Avaaz is launching a major advertising and text-message campaign inside Iraq this week to bring Iraqi voices to this decisive meeting. As citizens around the world, let's join our voices with theirs to end this war -- sign the petition calling for negotiations and a withdrawal of US troops here:

Tony Blair, out of Iraq. BLOCK ESCALATION IN IRAQ!

" BLOCK ESCALATION IN IRAQ!Sign your petition here "

Sign Your Petition: President Bush’s plan to escalate the war in Iraq is opposed by the Iraqi people, the international community, the Iraq Study Group, and the vast majority of Americans. We urge the new US Congress to block the military escalation in Iraq and demand a diplomatic solution and a real plan to end the Iraq war.

stop the clash of civilisations, signed the petition at www.avaaz.org

" support Middle East Peace, sign your petition here at www.avaaz.org, this is a video response to Prof.John Esposito on the UN Alliance of Civilizations "

I supported this petition and hope that all my readers here will do the same. Send your petition to Israeli, Palestinian & international leaders: The Palestinian-Israeli conflict lies at the heart of a global clash threatening to divide us all. People from every corner of the world want a just and lasting peace in the Middle East - and the international community can and must help bring all sides to the table. Start Real Middle East Talks Now, and stay at the negotiating table until we have peace. . .

Talk is rising of a ‘clash of civilizations’. But the problem isn’t culture, it’s politics – from 9/11 to Guantanamo, Iraq to Iran. This clash is not inevitable, and we don't want it. So where to start? The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the key symbol of the rift between Islam & the West. It's time to step up and take the initiative.

Add your voice when leaders meet in late March 2007, your message will be delivered in a way they can’t ignore.
Sign your petition here at WWW.AVAAZ.ORG.

Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed on Bush, Blair, Howard in "Expose War Crimes: Criminalise War"

" war criminal, killer of children, liar "

" Criminalising War: Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed on YouTube "

This event was attended by more than 3,000 participants and foreign delegates. It was also attended by local dignitaries including several of Malaysia's top judges. Despite the importance of event and the evidence presented on US war crimes, Western media coverage wasn't that much on this issue.

Our outspoken Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed, won a standing ovation after opening the event with a call for Bush, Blair, Howard to be tried by an unofficial tribunal for war crimes in Iraq."We should not hang Blair if the tribunal finds him guilty, but he should always carry the label 'War Criminal, Killer of Children, Liar'," said Tun in an hour-long speech illustrated by pictures of wounded children, deformed babies and tortured men. "And so should Bush and the pocket Bush of the Bushland of Australia," he said, referring to Prime Minister John Howard, a 'buddy' ally in the US-led war on terror.

Try watching this DVD Truth, Lies and Intelligence, to understand more about Bush, Blair, Howard lies. Done by veteran journalist, broadcaster and filmmaker Carmel Travers. His documentary examines the response of the intelligence community to the war in Iraq.

Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed has been leading this campaign to highlight what he calls the human rights abuses and hypocrisy of US-led forces fighting for democracy in the Middle East which I wholeheartly support. Please visit the War Crimes Exhibit (admission is free), which began this Monday and will be held until Sunday at PUTRA WORLD TRADE CENTRE. The exhibit contains documentary evidence of US sponsored war crimes.

pirate
“ Better to be a Pirate than to join the Navy ”

Steve Jobs - Referring to the pirate flag that flew over Apple’s headquaters in 1983. I believe that quote was one of three keyphrases for a large Apple meeting/conference, and the Pirate flag was attached to the Macintosh building after that meeting. So the flag was actually a reaction to that.
